Fun. That's what you get when you take an overnight
Bicycle Adventures tour. First-class lodging and
dining, top-quality rental equipment, full van
support, regional expertise and outstanding service
all combine to give you an active, safe, scenic,
and absolutely care-free vacation.
The Sunday to Friday Central California Coast
bicycle tour is offered six times a year and
includes biking, hiking, Hearst Castle, wine
tasting, fine meals, great bicycles, plus full van
following and support. This group starts in San
Luis Obispo and finishes in Santa Barbara.
The pace of the tour can be tailored to all
levels. Days typically start with breakfast at 8
a.m., followed by a review of the planned routes
and places of interest along the way. Guests
generally leave the previous night's lodging
between 9 and 10 a.m., after placing their luggage
in the van so it can be taken to the next inn.
Lunch is served picnic style at a scenic spot
about midway during the day. Average daily mileage
is 35, but can range from 20-50. Guests usually
arrive at the next lodging between 3 and 5 p.m.
where they find their luggage in their rooms and a
hot shower waiting. Dinner is served at about 7
p.m. in one of the best restaurants in the area.
