Location:
Calistoga
Description:
Listed on the National Register of Historic Places,
this charming Victorian Wine Country Bed and
Breakfast was built in 1860 by Samuel Brannan,
Calistoga's founder and one of California's early
entrepreneurs, also its first millionaire. Of the
original 25 cottages at his Calistoga Hot Springs
Resort, only three remain and the Inn has the only
cottage remaining at its original location.
This Napa Valley bed and breakfast is located
about 25 miles north of Napa at the top of the wine
country. Guests at the Inn have easy access to all
Napa Valley wineries, the three wine regions in
Sonoma County (Sonoma Valley, Alexander Valley, and
Russian River Valley) to the west and northwest,
and the burgeoning Lake County region to the
north.
The sweet gingerbread, gable-board and
scalloped-ridge Inn features a total of six rooms:
three standard one bedroom units, one deluxe one
bedroom unit, and two mini-suites with sitting
rooms. All rooms have queen size beds, private
baths and entrance/exits.
A full breakfast is included each morning and on
Fridays, local wineries pour their finest wines on
our patio or in the parlor. You're within minutes
of hot air balloon adventures, the many local
wineries, mud baths and mineral spas, golf, music
and art festivals, and parks with hiking trails
galore.
